High-functioning individuals with personality disorders may be able to maintain relationships and hold jobs, while low-functioning individuals may struggle to manage their daily lives. It's important to note that personality disorders are not the same as mood disorders, such as depression or bipolar disorder. While mood disorders affect a person's emotional state, personality disorders affect a person's overall personality and behavior.

Types of Personality Disorders
